Suncoast Safety Council is the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
(DHSMV) licensed provider of the DUI program for persons convicted of driving
under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or other drugs who live, work, or attend
school in Pinellas County. Educational classes and an evaluation are
mandated (Florida Statute 316.193) for persons convicted of DUI and Florida
Statute 322.271 Administrative Suspension.
Please have the items listed below as they will assist you in the registration
process:

Readable Copy of Arrest Affidavit-can be obtained at the Clerk of the
Circuit/County Court in the county the arrest occurred. If you had a traffic
crash, you must provide a copy of the report, which can be obtained from the
arresting agency.

Breath / Blood or Urine Test results or Refusal to Test (if available) - Required
for Evaluation Appointment

Any information from courts, such as court date disposition, judgement of
guilt, probation information, etc.

Please be advised that you are only pre registering for the program. To enroll online and complete the registration process, you must have the ability to print/scan & email or fax. Once you have pre-registered, you will need to contact our office at (727) 442-0233 ext. 541 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to continue the process. You will need to have your Citation and Complaint Arrest Affidavit/Accident report on hand at the time of the call. The information entered online will be verified along with some additional information requested. After the verification of the information, SSC will send you an email with various forms that must be printed, initialed, signed, dated and witnessed, then returned to SSC via email/fax. Once all forms are completed and returned to SSC, you will then be placed into your class and evaluation.
As a reminder, you have 90 days from the date of this payment to complete all aspects of the program (class and evaluation).
If false or misleading information is given concerning previous DUI arrests,
convictions or previous attendance at a DUI program, Suncoast Safety Council,
Inc. reserves the right to charge the full Level Two DUI program fee in
addition to any fees paid and the Level Two DUI course will be required.
The Level I DUI program is designed for
individuals who have had one alcohol and/or drug related traffic
arrest/conviction in their lifetime.
The Level II DUI program is designed for
clients who have been arrested and/or convicted of more than one alcohol,
and/or drug related traffic offense in a lifetime, and/or, have previously
attended a DUI Level I Drug and Alcohol
Education Course, and/or have been convicted of two or more times of an offense
requiring DUI program attendance.
Payment of fees is acknowledgement and agreement to the program rules and
regulations. All fees payable to Suncoast Safety Council, Inc. are
non-refundable, even if you are found not guilty of the DUI and your
administrative suspension is invalidated. Payment in full is due on the last
page of this registration. Fee for out of state driving records is actual cost plus $1.
